We have been recognised by Great Place to Work® as a Centre of Excellence in Wellbeing

We are extremely proud this month to be recognised by Great Place to Work® as a centre of Excellence in Wellbeing!

The new UK-wide award recognises organisations with excellent wellbeing practices. The accreditation tracks six key areas that drive a culture of wellbeing including, work environment mental and physical health, financial security, interpersonal relationships, work-life balance, and fulfilment at work.

Mason Advisory has always focused on wellbeing, but it’s now more important than ever. We introduced new wellbeing guidelines in 2019 and have continued to build on this with a programme of activities for mental and physical health, supported by a bi-monthly newsletterWe try to ensure staff still feel connected during lockdown – even though we’ve never met some of our new recruits in person. Recent starter Ben Young says, “We do a lot to make sure we’re keeping our people happy – it’s so important, especially in this world where we’re shut in home offices for eight hours a day. You feel you’re part of something.”

Rather than cancelling our annual Away Day in September 2020, each member of the SMT chaired a group of up to eight employees (at least two virtually), in different cities, all with live video linkto each other.

Steve Watmough, our CEO, says: “We’re so proud to have received this recognition as wellbeing is a key element of our business culture. It tells our current and future employees that we are committed to creating the best environment for individuals to thrive and for our business to operate efficiently.

“We feel we have created an atmosphere where team mates can talk to people around them, where they are supported, and where everyone is comfortable expressing themselves.

“We’re continuing to grow with new projects and clients coming on board and we understand the pressures this can put on our team, so as a company we are continuing to listen to them and ensure their wellbeing is at the forefront.”
