This led to a need to limit technical debt across the IT estate and increase IT Service resiliency for the most critical services. Mason Advisory expertise was onboarded to work in partnership with the Pets at Home team to deliver a systematic and well-proven approach to:
- define critical systems through a service catalogue and service criticality approach
- conduct full business and technology stack reviews
- provide deep insight and identify a programme to reduce risk
This then led to the execution of a programme of works including a Risk Reduction Portfolio and an IT Service Management transformation programme, including defining a Cloud Target Operating Model to future-proof services.
This resulted in a foundation for driving further improvements and resiliency, a robust management methodology for IT Service Risks and improved capability.
