Mason Advisory welcomes several new starters

Continually investing in and implementing improvements in workplace culture, employee wellbeing, career development, recognition and innovation.

We are really pleased to announce that we have kicked off 2021 with three new starters joining the team.

As Steve Watmough, our CEO, states: “Last year and to date has been unusual in the extreme. We, as a business, have stayed relevant to our clients and provided a vital role in supporting them through this period. It is fantastic that we are able to diversify and add this level of talent and experience to our expanding team.”

Claire Luff

Claire joins Mason Advisory as a Director, with over 20 years’ experience in senior roles across both Big Four and boutique consulting as well as within some of the UK’s largest System Integrators and Advisory Service providers. Claire will focus on expanding our strategy practice, with an emphasis on digital and data transformation.

Claire says: “This is an exciting time to join Mason Advisory. I’m proud to be working alongside such talented, hardworking and genuinely lovely people, with a diverse set of strengths and skills, committed to doing the very best for our clients whilst growing as a business.”


John Webb

John joins as a Managing Consultant from his role as Senior Manager with KPMG CIO Advisory and has over 30 years’ experience in technical consultancy, account management, complex transformation and programme assurance. His depth of knowledge has provided expedited the delivery of many major global programmes across various industries including financial services, retail, life sciences, and energy. John has also been awarded the British Computer Society IT Consultant of the Year Award.

John commented “My new colleagues have welcomed me into the team like an old friend! I am looking forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with our clients and to helping them solve the complex challenges which they face.”


Sammy Allanson 

Sammy joins us as a Consultant, from her previous role with ATOS as a Lead Service Manager and with experience working in operational service management roles. Her career performance and adaptability, is matched by a passion for promoting and encouraging diversity in and out of the workplace. Sammy was also a finalist for Computing’s Role Model of the Year – Women in IT, and a finalist for Hero of the Year awards.

Sammy commented: “I am delighted to start my new role at Mason Advisory! I am exceptionally grateful for new opportunities and perspectives after a challenging 2020 in many ways.”
