Duncan Swan: 'The UK Emergency Services Mobile Communication'

Duncan Swan will be speaking at the Comms Connect Conference in Melbourne on ‘The UK Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme – a technical insight into its delivery’

The UK Home Office has engaged KBR as its Delivery Partner for the ESMCP and Mason Advisory is a core element of the KBR Delivery Partner team with skills focusing on design and technical assurance.

Starting with an overview of the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme and the role of the Delivery Partner, Duncan’s presentation will offer an insight into the underlying technical architecture of the Emergency Services Network (ESN) and the design and assurance principles for this critical communications initiative.

The paper will also touch on the approach to the transition of users from the current TETRA-based Airwave service onto the ESN.
