Mason Advisory CEO wins the M55 age category at the Virgin Money London Marathon

So proud of our CEO, Steve Watmough, winning the M55 age category at the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 28 April, beating his personal best with 02:40:39.

This marathon was Steve’s 14th London marathon, but he’s actually run 19 marathon’s in total. He first ran in the Flora London Marathon in 2005 to raise money for Barnardo’s Children’s charity and completed the race in a time of 3 hours 51 minutes and 57 seconds. After that, he joined Warrington AC and started to run events for the club from 5K through to the marathon.

Steve’s time continued to improve, breaking the 2 hour 45 barrier in Frankfurt in 2016 and he regularly competes in the British, European and World Masters events.

Once again a massive congratulations to Steve and I’m sure they’ll be more marathon’s in the future, you never know he might even beat his new PB.
