Winners at the Salford Business Awards 2019

It’s time for celebrations after winning the ‘Excellence’ Award at the Salford Business Awards 2019.

The ‘Excellence’ Award focuses on businesses that ensure excellence is at the forefront of the entire organisation including management, processes, feedback, monitoring and customer service. Judges were looking for high standards of leadership, planning, analysis, people management and customer-led focus.

The awards were hosted by ITV Granada News presenter and reporter, Elaine Willcox, at a gala dinner at The Lowry hotel on 31^st October, and are an annual event organised in partnership between the University of Salford, The Business Group and Salford City Council.

Our CEO, Steve Watmough,says: “We’ve had a brilliant year in terms of business success and client wins, awards and accolades, and staff satisfaction so to win this award so close to home is a great achievement. We’re delighted to have been recognised for our contribution to Salford’s economy and for the high standards we aim to reach across the business.

It’s the first time we entered the awards so to win one is a major achievement.

This follows us being featured in the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2019, and being recognised by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe and one of the leading management consultancies in the UK. We’ve also won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the international trade category and recognised by Great Place to Work ® as a centre of Excellence in Wellbeing. It’s been a great year.
