Raising vital funds for St Ann's Hospice - The virtual walk

Date:

July 2020

St Ann’s need vital funds to support their patients now more than ever.  Ever year, more than a thousand people take part in the famed Manchester Midnight Walk around the city centre, however in these unprecedented times, St Ann’s Hospice we’re asking people to complete this year’s walk with a difference – a virtual walk!  Participants were challenged to either walk 5k in one day or 10k in any week of June.

Some of the Mason Advisory team decided to take part and due to Covid-19 and social distancing, we were allowed to complete the walk anytime and anywhere during the month of June.

Here’s a few of the Mason Advisory team who took part.

St Ann’s Hospice cares for and helps thousands of patients, over the age of 18, and their families and carers every year who are affected by cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses.

We’d like to thank everyone that took part and a special thank you to everyone who supported us.  We raised £1,090 and hopefully, this will make a small difference to someone’s life.
