Steve Watmough, CEO joins the board of Child Poverty Action Group as a Trustee

Date:

August 2020

CPAG works on behalf of the more than one in four children in the UK growing up in poverty, working to understand what causes poverty, the impact it has on children’s lives, and how it can be prevented and solved – for good.

Steve Watmough, CEO at Mason Advisory, has joined the board of Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) as a Trustee.

CPAG is a registered charity established in 1965 to alleviate poverty and social exclusion and has been leading the charge since, fighting for the end of child poverty in the UK. It uses their understanding of what causes poverty to campaign for policies that will prevent and solve it. They also provide training, advice, and information to make sure families get the financial support they need, if they are struggling.

Steve Watmough said “it’s a privilege to become a trustee at CPAG, especially in these uncertain times when families are struggling due to impacts of the pandemic. I hope sharing my experience and knowledge can help CPAG, and make some impact in helping to end poverty.”
