Celebrating a memorable night at the Alder Hey Children's Charity and LFC Foundation Gala Ball

With family at our heart, the LFC Foundation and Alder Hey strive to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in our local community, and those further afield.
Following our visit to the Alder Hey Mental Health Unit for children and young adults last year, we maintained a close connection with Alder Hey. Recently, we were honoured with an invitation to attend the Alder Hey Children’s Charity and LFC Foundation Gala Ball, a grand event hosted at the stunning Anglican Cathedral in the heart of Liverpool.
The timing couldn’t have been better, as we were in the process of announcing our Chair Awards and Peer-to-Peer recognition winners. It was the perfect occasion to invite the winners and a guest to celebrate in style, and they certainly did. The evening was made even more special by the presence of Liverpool FC legends, Charles Hanson hosting a lively live auction, and a memorable performance by Gary Barlow, who graced the stage with some of his classic hits.
The Gala Ball was a resounding success, raising over £950,000. These proceeds will go a long way in supporting Alder Hey’s efforts to finalise their new Neonatal Unit and further develop the LFC Foundation’s ‘Move’ program, aimed at helping children with respiratory and endocrine disorders.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Alder Hey Children’s Charity for their kind invitation. It was a truly amazing night enjoyed by all, and we are privileged to have been a part of it.
